Youth at St. Luke's Update

Here's what's up in youth ministry at St. Luke's this week:
May 12/13: Local outreach at Dunwoody Arts Festival Help. This weekend is the Dunwoody Arts Festival. DUMC has opened their parking lot as a fundraiser for our mission partner Community Action Center (Center). They need people to help take donations. Sign up as a family, enjoy the festival, and help CAC. The money raised can make a huge difference for CAC. looking for families to man a 2-3 hour shift. email Amy at volunteers@ourcac.org for more information.

May 13th: (don't forget it's mother's day) No youth group, we are mostly done except for summer trip planning. We will get rolling again in the fall. Note that the Mt. TOP meeting scheduled for today has changed to the following week.

May 20th: Note time changes from a few weeks ago. All meetings will be in the High School room.

     Mt. TOP meeting: 4:30-6:00pm

     Massanetta Springs: 6:15-7:00pm

     Montreat: 7:15-8:00pm

Please try to be at these meetings, they are crucial to the summer trips. Let me know if you can make it or not.

That's it for now. We are working on a summer schedule of stuff going on around here for summer trips.

VBS youth helper signups:

If you want to help with VBS please go to here to register as a volunteer. We need all the help we can to serve the kids who come through these doors.

4th and 5th grade help:

4th and 5th graders spend the week doing day trips and one overnight trip at calvin center. We need a couple more high school females to help with this week. Please let me know if you are in high school (or entering high school) this year and would like to help.

If your families last name starts with A-M bring an entre to share with 6 people, N-Z bring a side to share with 6. St. Luke's will take care of dessert and drinks. we will enjoy our evening together closing out the year.

May 13: Mt. TOP meeting moved to the following week. Many of you already had mother's day plans and were not able to make it. I'm sorry for the confusion, but we will meet for all three trips on the 20th. Enjoy your time with your families.
